Kyle Morehart, Hillsboro coach, was named the District 3 Coach of the Year. In his four years as Hillsboro’s head coach, Morehart has a 39-48 record.
Morehart’s first-year Burros averaged 42 points a game in posting a 4-17 record. This year, the Burros averaged 55 points a game while holding the opposition to 52 a game. The Burros finished 16-7 this year.
“It was a nice turnaround,” said Morehart, “and a lot of credit goes to Ashley and Mary for their contributions to the program.”

Coach Morehart and coach Scotty are some of the best coaches a backetball team could ask for. They might push you in practice but its so worth it Imean look the varsity girls got to go to The Betty this year it meant a lot to them exspecially to the seniors Mary Huotari and Ashley Haines. Like coach Morehart said they will be missed a lot, and im pretty sure everybodys gonna miss them. They’ve been such an inspiration to me this year. Im gonna miss them so much !!! : )
